Give towards the work of Freedom
This page contains information regarding financial giving and the church, including the ability to donate online.
Immediately below, you will find several ways to donate. If you scroll down, you can find out more about Biblical giving, and how our raised funds are used in the life of the church.
The easiest way to make a one-off or recurring donation is via Tithely, which you can access here.
Note that each transaction includes a small processing fee, but you may choose to cover this fee by ticking the ‘Cover Fees’ box.
Standing order/bank transfer
To give via Bank Transfer, you can use the following account details:
Name: Sidley Baptist Church
Sort Code: 40-23-18
Account Number: 42322714
Bank: HSBC UK
If you plan to be a regular giver, please add your last name as your payment reference.
The most effective way to give to Freedom Church is through Standing Order. These can often be set up via your Internet Banking, but you are also able to fill out our Standing Order Form. Completed forms can either be posted to the church, or directly to your bank. If posted to the bank, do please drop us a message via the contact form to let us know.
Gift Aid is a scheme enabling registered charities to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer, increasing the amount by 25p for every £1 donated at absolutely no additional cost to you.
This really adds up so, if you are a UK taxpayer and would like Freedom Church to claim Gift Aid on your donations, please print and complete the Gift Aid declaration form, and post it to the church address.
Please note: if you stop paying tax, you must tell us.
Give via Post
You’re also able to donate by posting a cheque to the church address below. Please make sure the cheque is payable to ‘Sidley Baptist Church’, which is our legal charity name.
Our postal address is:
Freedom Church, Claremont Road, Bexhill. TN39 5BX
Giving by cheque is also eligible for UK Gift Aid (see above), so do please let us know if you are eligible for this.
Generosity is founded upon recognising that we have been blessed by God, and being willing to be a blessing in return.
Whilst giving to the church is a Biblically-rooted practice, we understand that donating money can be a sensitive issue. It creates so many questions, not least being “How will the money be used?”
If and when you decide to support the ministry of Freedom Church, we want to assure you that you can give with confidence. We are a registered charity with the UK Charities Commission and as such we’re legally bound to adhere to their directives.
Your gift will bring hope, resources and the gospel to our local community, to our country, and even internationally through the mission organisations we support.
If you have any questions regarding giving, please get in touch with us using the contact form below.
